All that was ours
Olivia Harris left London at eighteen with a secret she couldn't carry and a boy she couldn't keep. She and Blaine Weston had been inseparable since childhood, best friends who became first loves without anyone being surprised, least of all them. But what they had was suffocating her before she'd figured out who she was without him, and at seventeen she did the only thing she could think of, which was to leave without looking back and hope that the distance would eventually explain itself. It never did. She broke his heart and fractured the friend group they'd grown up in, then spent the next eight years building a life that looked right on paper and felt nothing like her own.
When Olivia returns to London, she's engaged to a man named Liam, and the reunion with Blaine goes about as well as you'd expect. The ring on her finger is the first thing he sees and the last thing he can stomach. But Liam is perceptive enough to notice what Olivia refuses to admit to herself: that whatever she and Blaine left unfinished eight years ago is still very much alive. The engagement ends, Olivia has nowhere to go, and she finds herself sleeping in Blaine's spare room, which is either a second chance or a cruel joke, and she genuinely cannot tell which.
What follows is a slow and reluctant thawing. Forced proximity and old friends who know too much pull Olivia and Blaine back towards each other, into a version of their relationship that feels both familiar and entirely different. But Olivia is carrying secrets that could shatter everything they're rebuilding, and the closer they get, the harder it becomes to keep the truth where she buried it.
All That Was Ours is a love story about silence and what it costs, and two people deciding whether what they lost is worth the risk of reaching for it again.
