Laia Feliu writes contemporary love stories with real characters, real feeling, and enough heat to warrant a fan.

She's Spanish, based in Surrey, and currently working on her debut novel while documenting the whole chaotic process on her Substack. When she's not writing or editing her manuscript, you can find her collecting stamps from bookshops and coffee shops, rewatching Gilmore Girls for the hundredth time, or adding to a mug collection that has long since exceeded the available cupboard space.

  • About a year from first draft to final manuscript, though "write" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence. It was more like six months of writing followed by several more months of editing, restructuring, and quietly questioning every creative decision I'd ever made.
